Christmas 2006
Spent Xmas 06 with the mom, Duke, and grandparents in Houston AL. Mom's new house is coming along nicely, most of the pics are of the house and the lake.

Highland Games of Louisiana 2006 - The 8th annual running of the Highland Games of Louisiana. The dadman and Ms. Nancy run the children’s area of the games each year which has slowly built into a "kiddie" village of sorts including a castle, kiddie caber tossing, mini put put golf, and coloring galore. The adult stuff includes the heavy athletics, mass band ceremonies, Scottish ware and food vendors, working dog demonstrations, and representatives of many Scottish clan associations. The local train club shares the grounds as does the station of the local touring steam engine. Both make regular appearances. Sponsor's dinner, concert-ceilidh, and kirking of the tartans round out the festivities Much fun!
Avalon CA 2006 - The mudda finally made it out to the western edge. So, we grabed a boat out to Avalon harbour on the island of Santa Catalina. A most excelent time was had.
Labor Day 2006 - The Purdue clan gathers for yet another good time. This time in "Minni-soda". And yes, the mosquitos are as big as birds!
Santa Cruz Trip with the NextGen Crew - Took and awesome trip with Terrisa, Matt, Rob (NextGen people) and their significant others to the channel islands. A most perfect time.
Mother's Day Trip to the lake - May 2006 - Surprised the mudda for mother's day (again) and took some pix of my uncle's office in Huntsville and my parent's new house on the lake.
